Let me ask this another way.  Is anyone aware of published research or other helpful information in this area that may not have been considered in the current methods/design?    points systems, if you can actually provide helpful discussion/quotes from previous research that are relevant to the  redesigning the current Player Rating Systems. I would also welcome suggestions for aggregating player rating systems.
